Major Chinese state-owned oil companies have applied for permits to resume exports of gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel next month. According to a Financial Times report citing a source, Chinese leadership considers domestic fuel needs to be stable. An employee of an oil company stated the country is capable of resuming these exports. The move follows a period of export restrictions. China has approved the export of 500,000 tons of fuel to regions outside of Hong Kong for next month.
