Sudan Accuses Ethiopia And UAE Of Drone Strikes
The Sudanese army claims to have intercepted drones launched from Bahir Dar airport in Ethiopia. These drones follow a flight path similar to a Bayraktar Akıncı drone intercepted in March. The intercepted aircraft was also traced back to the same Ethiopian airport. The drones are identified as Turkish-manufactured Bayraktar Akıncı models. The drone's identification number was noted during the report. This development follows recent regional tensions involving drone activity in the area. Sudanese Foreign Minister stated the government has evidence that four drone strikes originated from Bahir Dar airport in Ethiopia. The strikes occurred on March 1. The minister also accused the United Arab Emirates of providing the drones used in the attacks. He warned that any further attacks would face a response.
