Buenos Aires Coast Under Orange Alert For 7-12 Meter Waves
The Ahr river, a tributary of the Rhine, rose extremely within a few hours following warnings from the German Weather Service regarding extreme heavy rain and continuous precipitation. The area is typically described as scenic and peaceful. Extreme weather with continuous and heavy rain is expected in the region. The rising water has caused flooding in houses and led to people attempting to flee. There are reports of many missing persons and fatalities in the disaster area in northern Rhineland-Palatinate. Uwe from Mainz, an experienced forensic illustrator, is traveling to the region to assist with the identification of deceased individuals. Houses are being flooded and people are attempting to evacuate. Flooding is occurring, with houses being submerged and rescue efforts underway. A 24-hour hotline has been established to provide assistance to those affected.
