The platform company rejected the EU Commission's findings, stating its platform is for users 13 and older and that it actively removes non-compliant accounts. European regulators are investigating whether Meta's platforms, including Instagram and Facebook, comply with digital safety rules regarding access for children under 13. Igor Berezin, president of the Marketers Guild, stated the potential fines could reach billions of euros. The company noted that age verification challenges affect the entire industry and said it will soon announce measures to resolve the issue.
