Apple May Use TSMC For AI Chips
TSMC has set growth expectations for this year at nearly 30%. The company's valuation is currently less than 20 times its e-bit or profit. TSMC executives reported at a tech industry conference that production for their two-nanometer and three-nanometer processes is ramping up. These represent the company's most advanced manufacturing processes. The announcement follows a period of strong performance for the semiconductor manufacturer. The company expects growth in the volume of advanced chips manufactured in Taiwan. This ramp-up is reportedly exceeding previous expectations. TSMC is increasing production of advanced processes at sites in Taiwan and the United States. The expansion includes manufacturing capabilities outside of Taiwan to include US-based sites. The source noted that President Trump has expressed satisfaction with this manufacturing development.
