Critical ChromaDB Flaw Allows Remote Code Execution
A critical vulnerability has been identified in ChromaDB, a database commonly used for AI applications. This flaw allows for potential server hijacking. A maximum severity vulnerability in the latest Python FastAPI version of ChromaDB allows unauthenticated attackers to hijack AI application servers. A critical security flaw in ChromaDB, identified as CVE-2026-45829, allows for remote code execution. The vulnerability is often referred to as ChromaToast Served Pre-Auth and affects the open-source vector database.
