Huawei Zero-Day Attack Linked to Telecoms Network Crash

Mastodon Luxembourg City 23h6h Impact 5
A Huawei zero-day attack has been identified as the cause behind the complete shutdown of Luxembourg's entire telecommunications network last year. A zero-day vulnerability in Huawei enterprise routers was allegedly used last year to breach Luxembourg's state-owned telecommunications operator, Post Luxembourg. An attack exploiting a previously unknown vulnerability in Huawei router software caused a three-hour nationwide telecoms outage in Luxembourg in 2025. The incident was reported by Alexander Martin for The Record.
