HGX is working to launch its first satellite, named Xplora, as part of a five-year agreement with ST Engineering to develop a space technology program. The Xplora satellite is designed to detect dangerous gases from space to assist emergency services with faster decision-making and response times. The partnership includes the development of the X-Flora satellite model designed to detect dangerous gases from space. The collaboration will also involve other Earth observation projects for public safety. HTX also signed a deal with French AI startup Mistral on the sidelines of the announcement. HTX is also developing robot management capabilities to enable humanoids to work alongside people and other robots.
