CISA Adds New Vulnerability to KEV Catalog
IBM X-Force Offensive Research researcher Chompie1337 exploited a race condition to escalate privileges on Red Hat Enterprise Linux for Workstations. The exploit occurred near Bologna, Italy, earning the researcher $20,000 and Master of Pwn points. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has added one new vulnerability to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) Catalog. This addition is based on evidence of active exploitation.
