L3 Autonomous Driving Reliability Requires Higher Mileage

L4 autonomous driving requires ten times the reliability of L3 because it necessitates no human intervention, demanding higher recognition accuracy and system redundancy. Li Wenguang stated that the increasing attack surface for cyberattacks creates new risks for functional, expected, and data security in autonomous driving. Xie Wenyun, Vice General Manager of BluePrint Auto Technology Co., Ltd., stated that competition in autonomous driving should focus on systemic capabilities rather than parameter counts.
