White House Vetting Artificial Intelligence Models
The American administration is reportedly reviewing its approach to artificial intelligence, according to political scientist Pavel Dubravsky, head of Dubravsky Consulting. Dubravsky noted that the labor market is already seeing job losses for designers, middle managers, assistant managers, and creative industry workers like screenwriters due to AI. He added that top screenwriters, or "mega-minds," are currently competing with tools like ChatGPT. The tech company Cloudflare has cut jobs, becoming the latest in a string of firms to do so because of artificial intelligence. NPR's John Ruich reported on these job cuts.
