The Wall Street Journal reported that Vance specifically mentioned Anthropic's Metis model during these discussions. Vance, the current Vice President, is described as both historically and currently unpopular. Vance convened an emergency call with the heads of major AI companies, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, XAI, and Microsoft. Vance warned these business leaders that AI models, specifically mentioning 'Mifos,' could disrupt critical infrastructure such as banks and hospitals. Andrey Ryabrov, founder of the American IT company FinC AI, supported Vance's concerns, stating that these models are 'really cool' and capable of finding such errors.
