Moscow Introduces New Rules For Couriers
Digital control for couriers has started in Moscow, requiring delivery service workers to undergo mandatory photo control. Their movement speed is now regulated by automation. The Department of Transport stated that a courier's shift begins with a photo session and document verification through a database. The number of deliveries in Moscow reaches 700,000, with approximately 120,000 people carrying out these orders. Companies face fines of 200,000 for violations, while couriers could be banned. Nova Transport founder Alexey Spassky believes these measures will discipline couriers. Yandex and Cooper services stated they already implemented some of these requirements.
