Experts noted that fields such as synthetic biology and biological protein design have recently seen Nobel Prize-winning achievements. Sophie Gars Nielsen discussed Denmark's green transition, said biological solutions and products. She stated that farmers are a very part of this transition, as biological products can replace "black energy" from systems. The new transition is not solely about regulation but requires a societal shift, according to Nielsen.
