South Korea To Maintain Juvenile Criminal Age At 14
South Korea has introduced the K9MH 155mm wheeled self-propelled howitzer, building on the mature technology of the K9 series. The unveiling took place in Seoul. The core design logic focuses on upgrading the wheeled platform and achieving automated capabilities. The weapon is equipped with a Hyundai Wia CN98 155mm L/52 gun and can be fitted with an L/58 barrel. A truck-mounted version of the K9, featuring an unmanned turret on a large military off-road truck, has also been developed. A truck-mounted howitzer version, the K9 Truck-Howitzer, has also been introduced, utilizing a large military off-road truck chassis with an unmanned control turret. This new howitzer aims to maintain South Korea's capabilities in the Indo-Pacific region. The source noted that maintaining internal comfort and air quality in the vehicle remains a technical difficulty.
