Bubble Wrap Invented After Failed Attempt
Engineers Alfred Vliet and Mark Dalvenes discovered bubble wrap in 1957. They initially attempted to create a three-dimensional wallpaper by sealing two pieces of hardboard together. This endeavor did not succeed as planned, but it led to the invention of bubble wrap.
