Ukraine Completes First Phase of Cyber Defense Projects
The focus of defense efforts includes protecting substations and networks while building new solar, gas-piston, and gas-turbine capacities. The government has canceled certain price stabilization measures for this generation due to high gas procurement costs from the EU. Ukrenergo is prioritizing the distribution of equipment from international partners to frontline regions including Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, and Chernihiv. The state company is focusing on regions most affected by the conflict to address energy infrastructure needs. Ukraine is focusing on building protective structures and restoring infrastructure to defend the power grid.
