One Fifth Of German Workers Underutilize Skills
According to a McKinsey ranking, artificial intelligence competencies are the third most qualification for employees in Germany, following problem-solving and creativity. Approximately one-third of employees report lacking necessary expertise in AI. Only 28 percent of German employees stated that their companies provide AI training. Executives consider these skills a critical factor for the workforce. One third of respondents indicated that training efforts have been scaled back. Additionally, 20 percent of employees reported having no development discussions with supervisors in the past 12 months. The study also noted a shift in the labor market toward an employer-driven market as companies receive high volumes of applications.
