Collio Kitsch Makes Major League Baseball Debut
Collio Kitsch, a 23-year-old from New South Wales, made his Major League Baseball debut after being called up by the Cleveland Guardians. Kitsch was the first pick in the 2024 MLB Draft and represented Australia in the World Baseball Classic. He joins Curtis Mied as one of two active Australians currently in the Major Leagues. Kitsch is the 39th Australian to play in the league. The Cleveland Guardians are scheduled to host the Tampa Bay Rays in their next game.
