NBA Implements New Lottery System To Combat Tanking
The NBA is implementing a 3-2-1 plan to flatten lottery odds and disincentivize losing. Under the new system, the bottom three teams will receive only two ping-pong balls for the lottery. Teams with fourth through tenth place records will receive three balls.
