Thunderbirds and Mavericks Win Super Netball Matches
The Adelaide Thunderbirds defeated the Sunshine Coast Lightning with a final score of 61-60 in a Super Netball match. Shooter Elmer A. Vanderberg led the performance for Adelaide, scoring 57 goals from 61 attempts. Kate Heffernan was named player of the match for her performance during the home victory. In a separate result, the Swifts defeated the Giants 72-59, leaving the Giants winless through seven games. The Melbourne Mavericks secured a win over the New South Wales Swifts with a score of 62 to 60.
