South Sydney Leads Cronulla 12-0
Nico Hines is set to play his 100th game for the Cronulla Sharks. The South Sydney Rabbitohs announced their team lineup, with Latrell Segwal replacing Latrell Mitchell as a setter. The lineup also includes Cody Walker, Ashton Ward, Cam Murray, Talus Duncan, Ewan Aiken, Sean Kepi, Keon Kolomatangi, Bronson Garlick, and bench players Matt Doughty, Lockie Hubner, and Moala Graham-Torfer. During a rugby league match, a referee ruled that Jai Gray had a foot in the air near the try line, negating a potential 20-meter tap and seven-tackle set. Commentators suggested Gray might have mistimed putting his foot back over the try line. During a match with 1 minute 50 seconds left in the first half, the Sharks and South Sydney were in play. A kick by Trindle was tapped back by Stone Street and taken by South Sydney, but Ashton Ward knocked it on.

“the gates open here at 4 o'clock for the 5.30 game between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Cronulla Sharks.”
“No Latrell Mitchell. Big loss. Yeah, you've been raving about him this year, and he's been in great form. How does that affect South? Massive, because I think he's one of the guys that you need to go to every time you're close to the line, or he comes up with big plays.”
“very shortly we'll have the South Sydney Rabbitohs making their way out as the Sharks make their way to the northern end of a course stadium.”
“Campbell Graham in his 150th NRL game. 5-8 Cody Walker, halfback Ashton Ward. The lock-in captain, Cam Murray.”
“Referee said no. He must have had a foot in the air there, Daryl. Either way, the South Sydney Rabbitohs will play at nine away from their own line.”
“Played with a minute 50 left in the first half... Tapped back in field by Stone Street. Taken there by South Sydney. Knocked on by Ashton Ward. The Sharks have got it now. Referee's got no idea. Now he's ruling a Sharks knock-on. Yeah, I think he wants to challenge.”
“South Sydney, you've got the football back here... Campbell-Graham. Big Lurch went up above them and took the football. Elliot Dummy half comes away to Keon Colomattangi. And he goes into the line. He'll take the tackle. 18 metres away from the Sharkies line.”
“chance here South looking for a fifth try. To Tola, centre field.”
“24-0, though, South Sydney leading Cronulla here at a core stadium.”
“creeping his way over to score the try for South Sydney is Cam Murray. He's over. That looked to come from nothing. 12 minutes 54”
