Chabi Simons Suffers Knee Injury
Dutch international Savi Simons was carried off the field on a stretcher with an apparent severe knee injury during a match. The incident occurred during a challenge with former Feyenoord player Hugo Bueno. Simons was seen screaming in pain, raising concerns about his immediate playing future. Dutch footballer Chabi Simons tore a cruciate ligament in his knee during a match last weekend. Coach Ronald Koeman described the injury as for the Netherlands national team. Koeman noted that Simons' youth remains a positive factor for future European and World Cup participation.
