Cristian Garín Loses At Rome Masters 1000
Novak Djokovic has withdrawn from the Rome Masters tennis tournament. The withdrawal of top players like Nadal was also mentioned in relation to the Madrid Masters. Novak Djokovic, 38, lost in his debut at the Rome tournament for the first time in 19 appearances, after showing physical discomfort from the second set. He was defeated 2-6, 6-2, 6-4. This was his first match on clay and he had not played since the Indian Wells Masters. The Serbian was not the only favorite to exit early. French number one tennis player Arthur Fils withdrew from the Masters 1000 in Rome due to a hip injury. He retired after 22 minutes of play against Italian Andrea Pellegrino.
