Krasnodar Regains Russian League Lead
Krasnodar returned to first place in the Russian Premier League table after a 1-0 victory against Akron Tolyatti. The winning goal was scored by John Cordoba in the 72nd minute. The victory allows Krasnodar to lead Zenit Saint Petersburg by one point. In another match, Sochi defeated Orenburg 3-1, featuring a hat-trick by Kirill Kravtsov. FC Krasnodar defeated Akron 1-0 in a match during the 28th round of the Russian Championship. The victory brings Krasnodar to 63 points, allowing them to reclaim the top position in the league table. Before the match, Artem Dzyuba received a commemorative award as the all-time leading scorer for the club.
