Ak Bars Kazan Defeats Metallurg Magnitogorsk
Ak Bars Kazan secured a 5-2 victory over Metallurg Magnitogorsk in the Continental Hockey League playoffs. Ak Bars opened the scoring and went on to win the series 4-0. The next game is scheduled for March 27th. Roman Kantserov scored in the fifth minute on a power play, followed by a goal from Sergey Tolchinsky. By the middle of the match, Metalurg held a 3-0 lead. Ak Bars attempted a comeback in the third period with goals from Artem Galimov and Alexander Khmelevsky, narrowing the score to 3-2.
