In the SBK champion of Mayor's Hurdle, Wadu and Jay DeGroozy, who were first and second at the Cheltenham Festival, filled those positions for much of the race. However, Plastil and Asion, in their first start outside of Novosibirsk, ultimately took the top two spots.
