Yekaterinburg May Host 2028 European Aquatics Championships
Radmir Gabdulev, General Secretary of the Russian Water Sports Federation, stated that Yekaterinburg could host the 2028 European Aquatics Championships. The International Swimming Federation restored Russia's full membership in mid-April. The federation has proposed holding an international tournament in the country. The event would potentially take place at the Yekaterinburg Aquatics Palace. The Water Sports Palace in Yekaterinburg is noted as the largest facility for water sports in the region.
