Saturn's E Ring Material Falls to Surface
Material from Saturn's E ring, ejected from geysers on the moon Enceladus, falls back to the planet's surface. Approximately 8% of this ejected material forms the E ring, while the remaining 92% returns to Saturn's surface, forming millimeters of matter.
