Researchers Pralay Chakraborty and Manash Dey have proposed a novel symmetry for the neutrino mass matrix. This symmetry naturally accommodates an inverted mass hierarchy. The work is titled 'The $\mu-\tau$ Counter Reflection Symmetry'.
