Maastricht Pioneers Develop Cell-Based Hamburgers
Researchers in Maastricht have successfully produced 80,000 hamburgers using cell-based technology. The process creates meat from cells without requiring the slaughter of a cow, representing a significant step in the development of lab-grown meat alternatives. The development is being conducted at the Brightlands campus in Limburg.
