Alaskan Mountain Collapse Created 481-Metre Wave
Scientists report a wave created when part of an Alaskan mountain crumbled into the sea last year. The wave reached a height of 481 metres, making it the second tallest ever recorded. This height exceeds that of the Empire State Building.
