French guides Mathéo-Jacques Mou and Samuel Écqui set a new record for the Mont Blanc ski ascent. The duo completed the round trip between Chamonix and the 4,806-meter summit in 4 hours, 41 minutes, and 24 seconds. The record was established during a period of dry conditions between Saturday and Sunday. This ascent marks a new benchmark for the mountain's ski routes. Kienn completed a round-trip ascent of Mont Blanc in 4 hours and 41 minutes. This performance broke the previous record of 4 hours and 43 minutes set by Italian climber William Beaufély last year. The feat was achieved by shaving two minutes off the prior time. This performance beat the previous record held by Italian skier William Boffelli by two minutes. The achievement was reported following the successful climb.
