Berlin Mosquito Surveillance Tracks Tiger Mosquito Spread
The Asian tiger mosquito, Aedes albopictus, is expanding its range and could pose a health risk to Europe. These mosquitoes, measuring between 3.5 and 8 mm, are capable of transmitting various pathogens previously restricted to subtropical and tropical regions.
