Tunisia Unveils First Geopark In Tataouine
Tunisia has established its first geological park in the Tataouine region. The site features geological formations dating back more than 250 million years. This location is the first of its kind in Tunisia and the third on the African continent. The park aims to bridge natural landscapes with cultural heritage.
