Yuyuan-Kunming High-Speed Railway Construction Milestone Reached

Construction of the ballastless track section for the Yuyuan-Kunming High-Speed Railway has been successfully completed. The construction area spans the Sichuan Basin toward the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, a region characterized by high elevation differences and difficult terrain. Project leader Chai Junyu stated that the team focused on quality control to reduce future maintenance rates and save costs while improving track smoothness. This segment is a critical component of China's national high-speed rail network. The completion provides a foundation for the entire line to open on schedule. A detection train departed from Shangqiu Station to begin work on the Henan section of the Beijing-Hong Kong High-Speed Railway, specifically the Xiong'an New Area to Shangqiu segment.
