Construction Begins On Pedretto Underground Geothermal Lab In Switzerland
Researchers are exploring the Pedretto Tunnel, diving one and a half kilometers under the Earth's surface using an electric vehicle. The Pedretto-Lab, an underground laboratory dedicated to geothermal energy, began construction around 2019 within this tunnel.
