New Butterfly Species Discovered In Crete
An international research team has discovered a new butterfly species on the Greek island of Crete. The species, named the Pope-Leo butterfly, features purple forewings and an orange spot in the center. Researchers stated they currently know little about the insect's lifestyle. The discovery was announced by the lead researcher from the Tyrolean State Museums in Austria.
