Biomanufacturing, utilizing industrial biotechnology, genetic engineering, and synthetic biology, is accelerating its integration into various production and life sectors. Another breakthrough is expected in using biological manufacturing methods to synthesize proteins, reducing reliance on soybean imports. Additionally, advancements are being made in energy, including energy conservation, purification, and bio-based aviation materials. China is actively pursuing breakthroughs in biological manufacturing for several sectors, including chemical new materials like their self-developed 'Jier acid,' which may see industrialization within 15 years. China is advancing its fusion energy research, with projects like the 'Hui Liu 3' and another experimental 'artificial sun' in Hefei progressing towards commercialization. Technologies developed in this chain are expected to have broad applications in other fields. A comprehensive synergy between finance, technology, and industry is considered essential for progress, with many large state-owned and private enterprises entering the relevant industrial chains. Development is planned in phases, moving from experimental to demonstration and then commercial stages over four to five years.
