Quantum Gravimeter Tested For Archaeological Mapping
A quantum gravimeter has been tested in a parking lot in Reims to identify archaeological remains without excavation. The device was previously used to probe the volcanic subsoil of Mount Etna in Sicily. The robot can map features up to 20 meters beneath the surface.
