Russian Cancer Vaccine Shows Initial Results In Trials
A new melanoma vaccine has yielded its first treatment results, according to Alexander Ginsburg, scientific director of the Gamaleya Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology. The announcement was reported via RIA Novosti. Ginsburg noted that a patient receiving the vaccine is showing small shifts in response. Alexander Ginsburg, a scientific director at the Center for Epidemiology, Microbiology, and Oncology, reported observing small shifts in a patient who received the drug. The patient is expected to undergo approximately 10 more [sessions/steps]. Professor Alexander Greenberg of the Gamaleya Center and the Research Institute of Virology stated that scientists observed a breakthrough in the production of necessary cells. The treatment is currently undergoing evaluation following these preliminary findings.
