The core component, the Shenzhong Bridge, features two main towers reaching 270 meters in height. Innovative automated rebar welding robots are being used, achieving full-process automation from material feeding to forming and welding. The system addresses issues of low efficiency, poor precision, and high risk associated with traditional methods. The main tower cranes are designed to adapt to different bridge shapes, requiring flexible form-switching capabilities. Lead engineer Tian Wei noted the shift toward industrialization and intelligence to meet the challenges of the Lingdingyang sea area. This technology, developed for projects like the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, increases construction efficiency by 60% and reduces on-site personnel by 70%. The system integrates functions like automatic lifting, assisted production, emergency avoidance, and real-time safety monitoring, along with amenities for hygiene, fire safety, sun protection, and rain protection. The automated system is designed to be compatible with both A-type and H-type towers. The development was led by engineers including Tian Wei and Li Bazhou, who focused on structural innovation and intelligent control systems. This technology fills a technical gap in industrial reinforced concrete construction both domestically and internationally. New automated technology has achieved full-process automation for bridge tower reinforced concrete, covering material feeding, shaping, and lifting. The process utilizes standardized modules that allow for precise docking at heights of 100 meters.
