Zubke Re-elected As SED Dictatorship Victims Commissioner
A former GDR opposition member was re-elected yesterday by the Bundestag for a second term. She will serve as Commissioner for the Victims of the SED Dictatorship, an office she has held since 2021. Zube said that Germans live in a democracy despite existing problems.
