Washington State Protests Planned Against Deportation Policies
Thousands of marchers are scheduled to hold May Day rallies across Washington state tomorrow. Rallies are planned for Seattle, Vancouver, and Yakima. The Seattle event is set to begin at noon at Cal Anderson Park on Capitol Hill. Organizer Melissa Rubio stated the focus is to send a message against ICE and the Trump administration's deportation policies. Thousands of protesters plan to march through streets in Seattle, Vancouver, and Yakima tomorrow for the Mayday rallies. Last year, more than one thousand people participated in the Seattle event.
