Protesters Block Hospital Exits In Brooklyn
Demonstrators gathered outside Wyckoff Medical Center in Bushwick following weekend events. Protesters included local residents, elected officials, and retired hospital staff. Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso stated that ICE has no place inside a hospital. Retired doctor Steve Ourback joined the rally to advocate for medical professionals. Police responded to an ICE protest outside of Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn on Saturday. Protesters reportedly acted in a disorderly manner by blocking hospital exits and entrances. A video circulating online shows an officer pushing a man onto the sidewalk and pulling him down by his sweatshirt.
