Pentagon May Brief President On Iran Military Options
A representative from Hackot appeared before the United States Senate for the first time since the start of the war to present a two-month progress report. Consequently, the option of war against Iran remains an open possibility. The proposal reportedly involved separating the Strait of Hormuz from other concessions. Former IRGC commander Mohsen Rezaee suggested that war remains an open and likely option for Iran given current circumstances. This coincides with CENTCOM preparing military plans. During a phone call, Trump proposed a short-term ceasefire in Ukraine and expressed hope for a Russian announcement. Trump noted the proposal aligns with Victory Day celebrations marking the defeat of Nazism. The US central command announced that forces are on alert as Washington continues to press for negotiations regarding Iran's nuclear program.
