Judge Blocks Washington State Sheriff Conduct Law

Failure to comply with the code would have resulted in removal from office. The ruling follows a lawsuit filed by four Eastern Washington sheriffs, including Spokane County Sheriff John. Gas prices in the Puget Sound region have reached a new all-time high of $5.77 per gallon. The injunction prevents the law from being implemented as scheduled.
