German Police Face Cross-Border Investigation Challenges
German investigators face challenges when pursuing cases that cross international borders. Kriminalhauptkommissar Hans-Joachim Henschel of the LKA Niedersachsen stated that investigations often require cooperation with authorities in other countries through bodies like the BKAA, Europol, or Interpol. Even when cooperation yields information, blocking servers or accessing local businesses can be extremely difficult or impossible.
