German Coalition Negotiations Accelerate
The CDU and Green parties are continuing coalition negotiations in Germany. Green negotiator Cem Özdemir stated that both parties are approaching the talks with more calmness and optimism. Both parties aim to reach an agreement that addresses current problems. Working groups are expected to submit reports on areas of agreement and disagreement on schedule. Negotiations between the Green-Rose list and the SPD, FDP, and Free Voters are currently in high gear.
