Polish Labor Reform Aims To Eliminate Precarious Contracts

A new draft law regarding labor inspections has emerged during the negotiation phase. The Trident project aims to improve cooperation between Poland, Lithuania, Czechia, and Moldova to detect illegal weaponry. Polish police noted that while only isolated cases of weapons being moved into the EU have been detected in Ukraine, the risk remains a concern. Minister Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bong stated that a reform of the State Labor Inspection will target the elimination of over 400,000 junk contracts. New regulations are expected to enter into force in July. These provisions will grant inspectors the authority to convert specific types of contracts into standard employment agreements.
